Ooh well said sir. I try and kill `em with kindness as a first tactic, they normally give in with that. I suck upto ebuyer when i return things, to make sure they`ll repay my return postsge for faulty items.
Posting over here Chris, as requested. The Asus motherboard you mentioned only supports up to 133/266 fsb, so no, a 2500 Barton with an fsb of 166/333 would not be suitable.
The reason i ask is because Aria tell me that my nans CPU, after working perfect for about 7 times of the computer being on, suddenly died. Wanted to test it before sending it off but the only AMD mobo i have in the house is that one- being in my sisters PC which was bought funnily enough from Lidl's!
will have to take engineers word for it and send it off.
Had no idea a knackered CPU would cause such a problem though...
