1.1RC3 requires a Java environment for full functionality, and since
Microsoft got caught again with its hand in the cookie jar "embracing and
extending", I used the Sun Java Runtime Enviroment (JRE) on those systems.

IOW - No, they didn't program it to crash, repeatedly, on WinOS.

Just because version 0.15 crashed on a 16MB ram Win95 machine for
you ... <B-)

I'm still betting someone worked some code, in there, somewhere. You use
2K. My experience was with XP. I would not put it past MS to boobytrap
anything...But, then again, I'm just using 16MB of EDO ram so I'm to blame
for all of my problems
