"You were the first thing, that I thought of. When, I thought
I'd drank you, off my mind. When I get lost, in the liquor, you're
the only one I find. If I did the thangs, I oughtta', you still would
not be mine. So, I keep a tight grip on the bottle...Gettin' loose
and, killin' time..." - Clint Black

Ok, you caught me! I wasn't reading. I'm still convinced of the conspiracy
theory, though! I don't use OpenOffice, and I'm not sure what that has to
do with Sun's version of Java...

1.1RC3 requires a Java environment for full functionality, and since
Microsoft got caught again with its hand in the cookie jar "embracing and
extending", I used the Sun Java Runtime Enviroment (JRE) on those systems.

IOW - No, they didn't program it to crash, repeatedly, on WinOS.

Just because version 0.15 crashed on a 16MB ram Win95 machine for
you ... <B-)

I'm still betting someone worked some code, in there, somewhere. You use
2K. My experience was with XP. I would not put it past MS to boobytrap
anything...But, then again, I'm just using 16MB of EDO ram so I'm to blame
for all of my problems ;)

Ahhhh, cheapshots....blah ;)
