Thanks for your response, Paul. I really appreciate you taking the time to
repond to my questions. I have learned some of the troubleshooting of
NTBackup.

Diane

There were no error messages or any information about the NTBackup. Under
Scheduled Tasks in the Last Result column, it showed "0X1" instead of "0X0".

Thanks.

Cliff,

Thanks very much for the article. It helps a lot. I was able schedule the
backup jobs using the Unmanaged method.

You are correct. We should move to a third party solution from Veritas. I
have been struggling with the NTBackup for some time. Again, thank you
very much for your assistance.

Diane

Paul,

I finally was able to schedule my backup jobs using the Unmanaged method in
Microsoft Knowledge Base 239892.

Again, thank you very much for taking time to assist me. I have learned
some of the troubleshooting method of NTBACKUP.

Diane

Wish I could have been of more assistance. I will have to read the KB
article Enkidu pointed out.

Paul,

Even though you did not give me the solution, but you have been very helpful
to assist me to troubleshoot this problem. I was stumped for weeks and did
not know how to troubleshoot the problem. I have learned some of the things
in Windows that I did not know before. Any way, I really appreciate you
taking time to work on this problem.

Diane

You're welcome!

Cheers,

Cliff
