im thinking ebay

i didnt find one single online store that sells them!!
 
They are like rocking horse sh*t... I saw a 3200 go on ebay for 95 quid about a week ago... :eek:

But i think thats the only place you will get one.

Hold on a minute....I think i still got an old Socket A Sempron 2400 or 2800 somewhere..... I'll have a look when i get home. :)

It should fit, may not run at full speed, dunno really. i'll have a look later when i get home. :thumb:

if anyone reads this lol

my mate is a support engineer

he seems to think it could also be either the psu
even if it powers it up

transistor on the mobo

or

the actual case

i got a cpu coming in soon hopefully
exactly the same xp2200

and ill see if i can take a pic of my current one too

problem solved


see psd99 does not like LOUD COMPONENTS

so what he decided to do was to unplug the gfx's fan
its a ti4200 64mb ddr graphics card

the fan was so noisy so he decided to unplug it
everything was working fine untill one day BANG no post.......

took me ages to work out
i thght it was the cpu or the mobo

but it ended up being the gfx
the advice here is never to unplug a fan unless u are like me
crazy in the head.....

Don't worry about it mate - we've all done some silly things which at the time seem logical, but later you think 'why on earth did I do that?' :wall:
