Stripping Win7 of some addons is due to Antrutrust lawsuit fiuled by
EuroUnion jerks who can't stand an idea of an American company (Microsoft)
jamming competition into the mud, just because they (Microsoft) are BEST in
the world. It is also due to some other artificial, politically-motivated
lawsuits against Microsoft, that Email, MovieMaker, etc have been stripped
off of the Operating System, OK?
Apple doesn't have nearly as much market share as MS, hence it was not
subject to such lawsuits... yet.
However the bottom line YOU CAN DOWNLOAD, and in fact it's fed down your
throat - all such utilities from MS website, especially their WindowsLive
section.
You get LiveMail, PhotoGallery, Movie, whatever... STOP complaining and get
new reality into your mind.
These thjings are now an optional download, rather than mandatory inclusion
as has been from Windws95 thru WinXp thru Vista.
All it takes is a few hours to download & setup.
You should complaion to EU government and thanks some pricks for these
lawsuits that now force you to download things instead get pre-packaged in
Operating System
The positive fact however, now you have a choice.
Windows7 is a lean, fast machine and if you prefer Thunderbird for email for
example, you can download it w/o bothering with WindowsLiveMail - leaving
you with MRE disk space and less cluttered filesystem, than would've been
should WIndows come with email, movie, and whatever else you desire.
It's now a dowloadable "Plus" feature, stop complaining.
Soetimes I feerl bad for Bill Gates to be a target of frivolous complaints.
