So, download Windows Live Mail. Takes a few minutes. BFD.

It's to create the illusion of a leaner and faster operating system than
Vista. Of course, once you download all the essential extras it'll be fatter
+ slower than mud.

It sucks, but people should try it. Fortunaely you can uninstall it
easily enough which is the only reason why people might want to consider it.

If you are serious about media manipulation, buy a Mac. PCs are cripled
this way.

For Win 7 mail, Thunderbird is a great replacement for mail.

It even has less bugs than XP Outlook Express.

As for Movie Maker....ouch... You are kidding right? How can Microsoft
be so daft?

Yes, I am using it.
You, are not.

I've used it, but I'm not impressed.

It brings nothing new to the marketing mix (Vista did), but takes away more
features than it adds. Did we not sing the praises of Windows Calendar in
this group for it to warrant a home in Windows 7?

Or if I've missed the exciting new feature coming with Windows 7 then please
enlighten me. I genuinely would like there to be one...

True, but I've never known it to make an os run faster.

It's certainly faster than Vista on the same machine with the same apps
installed. One major feature is that Win 7 doesn't randomly drop wireless
connections, unlike Vista...

Live Mail has the calendar.
Not sure if its as "good", not a big PC calendar user.

I've seen it.

Using an online calendar is ok if you have zero concern for privacy.

How do you figure that?
You an expert on international law?

Canonical even says so, dummy ...
Legal Notice Patent and copyright laws operate differently depending on
which country you are in. Please obtain legal advice if you are unsure
whether a particular patent or restriction applies to a media format you
wish to use in your country.

I have a lawyer who is an expert on international law. It's legal here
as is downloading music, DVDs or programs from Torrent if you have no
plans to make money on the downloads. Too civilized for you?

You can use it without being signed in to Windows Live.
How are they collecting data without being signed in?

Well presumably the expectation is that at some point you will sign in.

PencilState said:
It's not legal anyway to make unauthorized usage of copywrite (I think you mean copyright, dumb ****) material.
If the maker forbids such usage, then it is forbidden.
You live in a country of thieves that doesn't enforce the law.

We have our own laws which aren't made on the basis of campaign
donations from the RIAA.

Of course, I can download an email software.
BUT, whey did not Microsoft include Windows Live Mail,
or some other email software as a default reader ?

Other systems are going to make hay about that.
I so often hear in retail outlets selling Apple hardware
that if the customer chooses another system he will
have to buy antivirus and movie editing software at
great cost. That will no longer be true in October
as concerns antivirus software, but movie maker
was included in previous iterations of Windows.

Got proof?
Got a link that states it is legal in Spain to fileshare copywritten
material?
"copywritten"?

You may have the legal right to create a copy locally in your own home,
but to transmit that data thru a torrent?
Show me.

Do your own research.
See if your "lawyer" is sober enough to help you.

Kiss my ass.

All my posts are copyright so don't you dare copy them, moron.
