We have Windows XP professional and we seem to have lost
our 128 bit security.I looked it up on the net but all I
found was downloads of the 128 bit secuirty program for
$150.I also tried to download a securtiy patch from the
windows security upadates site, not that it would do me
much good since I can not install anything on the
computer because nothing can be verified. All of our
settings seem to be in order.Any thoughts? Thanks!

See if anything here is of assistance:-

In Internet Explorer -
1. Tools > Internet Options > Advanced
2. Scroll down to the Security Settings.
3. Make sure that the two boxes are checked that say
"Enable SSL 2" or "Enable SSL 3".
Try your secure sites.

Another thing you can try is:

Go to start/run
Type in: regsvr32 softpub.dll

Thanks for the link.Once I followed the directions I got
a pop up message on my tool bar saying that my virtual
memory is too low and some aplications may be denied.I am
guessing that is what the problem is.How do I get more
virtual memory?

The start/run line worked! What did this do?

Don't know if you saw, but below a line for run/start was
suggested for me and it worked. Thanks anyway.

All you did AmberJ was to reregister a dll file on your system which was not
working properly or not registered properly. What exactly it does, I don't
know - I'm not that technical.
Glad your problem is solved.
