And again, another forged posting from me.
Ed hasn't posted a message on usenet in
years, and all postings from supernews are
from me.

I'm a sad, lonely wanker.

And again, another boring forged e-mail from me.
It's from supernews, and Ed doesn't post from
supernews.

Anyone who is interested can use

http://groups.google.com

Click on Advanced options, choose "Sort by date",
search the group "comp.periphs.scanners", and search
for the keyword "supernews".

When you find a particularly obnoxious or rude
posting, it's from me. You can verify this by
clicking "Show options" and then "Show original".

If the posting came from supernews, it's from me
and is just a troll.

Anyway, I recommend VueScan wholeheartedly.

http://www.google.com

Type in "Bart van der Wolf" (with quotes!) and click on
search.

The list you get is quite amazing. Especially one link
too rude for me to include here. But it comprises a
reference to Bart's oral fixation with male genitalia.

Here's the start of it:
http://www.velocityreviews.com/forums/t258352-bart-van-der-wolf-sucks-
and it dates back to 2004.

The link pops up on the very first page and is easy to locate.

Yes, I know. Lionel and I were just having some fun. You know, boys
will be boys.

But now I prefer Ed and I'm fully devoted to him. In every sense of
the word!
Anyway, what does this have to do with Vuescan's
counless bugs?

Nothing. But since Ed can't fix any of them all we can do now is fake
people's messages.

I don't care about VueScan because I don't use it but many in
this newsgroup know what a terrible program VueScan
is. I personally wouldn't recommend it, but to each his own.

You can read hundreds of angry VueScan victim's complaints
by searching the archives of this group at:

http://groups.google.com

for VueScan bugs or similar.

That's right. I myself will defend VueScan to the death (even hitting
under the belt) but I too have to admit it's riddled with bugs.

That's why one of its nicknames is: VueBUG!

I don't use it for a number of reasons. The notorious D-max (gamma
linearization) to name one. As I said many times, to date VueScan is
not capable of scanning the Raw data with a linear gamma. Actually
it's not capable of scanning, period!

Of course, Ed has posted messages on usenet under a fake
name for many years. In the meantime Bart has taken over
with yet another pathetic posting. But Ed activelly supports
this anti-social behavior by providing Bart with his server logs.

Yes he does! Ed and I keep in very close contact. Very, very, close!
Real close, if you know what I mean! Some people would say too close!
;-)

But he's fully supportive of my forging Don's messages and provides me
with all the help I need such as his server logs.

When you find a particularly obnoxious or rude

rude language and never participate in flame wars.

This seems to infuriate some (rabid) Vuescan "fans".

Yes, that's what gets to me! I've been stewing quietly for years but
now I just can't take it anymore. So I started faking your messages.

The trouble is no matter what we (me and Ed) try it all seems to
backfire on us! Like this current train wreck we caused.

But now we don't know how to get out of it without losing face. OK, we
lost face already by exposing that Ed actively supports me but we're
still hoping for some miracle and continue with knee jerk reactions.

And again, another boring forged e-mail from me.

It's not an email. It's a newsgroup message.

But we know. No need to keep repeating it.
VueScan's cropping has never worked not even
close to a professional product like SilverFast. This is
easy to verify by downloading a copy of
SilverFast from:

http://www.silverfast.com/

That's true. Many VueScan victims have complained about VueScan's
inability to crop correctly.

Unlike amateur VueScan bungling, SilverFast is a professional product.

I do seem to have a sense of irony though.

I'm quite capable of scaling this up to several
thousand responses per day, and even automating
these responses if necessary. A bully needs to be
confronted.

I actually love VueScan, and you can download
a trial version from:

You can use www.google.com to search for
VueScan - and you'll find thousands of sites that
recommand VueScan. Use the keyword
"scanner software" and you'll find that VueScan
is the number one recommendation by googe.

There is no D-max or gamma linearization bug
in VueScan. Search the archives of this newsgroup
for the past few years using groups.google.com.
Search the internet with www.google.com. You'll
find that there's no such bug.

VueScan is very capable of scanning with linear
gamma, and producing raw files with linear gamma.

I actually have no idea if Ed and Bart exchange
e-mails. I just like being a wanker.

Ed has never given anyone his server logs, and not
one person can post even a snippet from one of his
server logs. I'm such a wanker.

The quoted message was obviously re-written
by me - the original message states that VueScan's
automatic cropping is superior to SilverFast's.

It's easy to confirm this - don't take a ranting
loony's (like me) opinion. Just download
SilverFast from:

www.silverfast.com

and download VueScan from:

www.hamrick.com/

and compare the cropping of each.

There was one correct statement
by me in this message. These aren't forged
e-mails, they are forged newsgroup postings.

You said that too.

Speaking of thousand responses, how are you enjoying the spam?

Especially since you worked so hard to protect your identity.
