Yeah, i was pressured into it by a friend who has two of them lol
I was pressurising you too - but obviously I'm not a friend then :p ;) :D

Yeah i will get some pics sorted. Of course your a friend addy :P, its just your not as good as pestering me as my friend was :)

You'll be glad to hear ady i went for the NEC. I had some time to think about it as i had an item out of stock, so the whole delivery was held up.

Good news though, my order is being sent to me today so i should get it tommorow :)

Am i right in saying the back fan and the 2 lights on the front for the case are the only ones with blue lights in the case? The front fan doesnt have a blue light does it?

Just making sure i have connected everything up correctly.

Nope, the front fan is just a standard 120mm TT fan. I bought an Antec Tri Cool 120 and put that in the rear and put the led TT fan in the front. It made a nice difference to the lightning! :)

Have a look at the pic in the gallery here.

I also fed the Antecs fan speed switch through the top PCI slot so i can change the speed without having to open the case. Just had to put a slight notch in the plate. You can just see it in the pic in the link above. :thumb: (Click on the pic to view it full size)

Oh, thats another thing. I couldn't find any hand screws to hold the HDD in place, where did you find yours?

You should have a big bag of screws and stuff, You got that yeah? Have a look at the pic again and use the thumb screws like i did in that pic, you get loads of 'em!

Don't think so. I got a bag of screws, mainly small ones that came with the mobo if i remember correctly. All i got with the case was those purple sliders and a bigger bag which only had a small cleaning cloth and a sticker, which is strange as the bag was pretty big.

Maybe i can contact thermaltake and see if i can get the screws?

Thats odd....You should have got a bag of screws, standoff and other bits and bobs.

Just found a pic from a review of it below, see the bag of bits on the right below the drive rails? thats what you should have, you didn't leave them in the box or something did you? :)

EDIT: just remembered, mine came in a small brown box that was wedged under the mount for the hard drives. On the base of the case! Nearly missed it myself!

Yep, thats it. Seems they didn't include the thumb screws for some reason, i only have small silver screws.

Well that sucks, have you tried contacting OCUK?

I will send them an email tommorow, see what they say.

Another question though, for my mobo im trying to get my headphones to work i plug them into the green port which is for speaker/headphones from what i know. I get the following screens once i have connected the headphones.

Any ideas why? Could it be something to do with teh settings in the Soundmax software as to why im not getting any sound?

Thanks

Are you plugging them into the green connector on the top of the case? - if so you may not have the connectors to the mobo pins configured correctly.

Nope, at the back of the pc. I do have a couple of usb ports and a green and pink port on top of the case, although i havent connected those yet. I just can't seem to find where the 2 audio ports connect onto the mobo.

Surely the ports im speaking about are optional? Can't you just use the ports on the back of the pc?

the ones directly on the motherboard should work fine, have you tried connecting them to any of the other ports ?

Managed to sort it out. I had to choose stereo speakers from the drop down list when it asks me what i connected, surely this is a little weird as im connecting headphones.

Glad its sorted Stuart :thumb:

Just read about this in the manual:

Line Out port (lime): This port connects a headphone or a speaker. In 4-channel, 6-channel, and 8-channel configuration, the function of this port becomes Front Speaker Out.
I take it from that, you have to specify 2-channel (stereo) to get the headphones to work.

......also in the manual it tells you how to connect those case front(top) audio connectors ;)

Is that in the mobo manual right?

I just laugh at the number of problems i have had over the last few days, its keeping you guys busy though :P

I would be lost without pc review, so thanks again.
