Eh... UPS apperently have a new driver. As a result the driver could not find where i lived, should have gotten the monitor yesterday.... hopefully it comes in today. :(

That driver used to work for City Link over here, he could never find any addresses here either.

Lol, Just got it today... THIS THING IS HUGE!
gonna give i a few days so i can get used to it before i say anymore
 
just gave CSS a test drive, the game looks even better than before! Mostly because the increased resolution. Even if i'm sitting a little too close to it. :D
 
Tie a rope to your leg and the other end to your chair. People have been lost for weeks in them big screens when playing games.

Initial Impression... ITS HUGE, look clean and crisp (even if it was overly bright)

Somebad things...
For as much as its touted to be a gaming monitor - there is some ghosting to be found in darker games.
Most notably in Oblivion, even though my old monitor had a 5ms (compared to 3ms found on this one) i never noticed any ghosting in it. With the 28" I can get rather annoying. Other dark games i have tried included L4D - which shows faint ghosting but your not going to see it unless your really looking for it. I suppose since the gameplay in Oblivion is slower to that found in L4D or even Fallout 3 - your eyes can pick up and focus on those little things.

That said - i still like it
even if i dont watch movies in 1080p :D

btw been looking for some good wallpaper, if you got any good sites please share!
(the ones i have found look fantastic at 1920x1200!!!)

150 pics at 25600 x1600 widescreen 64MB all sorts
200 pics at 1900 x 1200 77MB sci-fi high quality

That Deviant Art site is really cool though.

Maybe it's me but I went to that link and, er, where exactly are the free wallpapers?

Do you have to enrol? Do you have to install something they call a flash loader?

If so - screw that :D

I have quite a few Deviant Art wallpapers, they do some really good stuff, I have their 'Abandoned' in widescreen on my Vista machine. Tres groovy :)

Back then I remember being able to find the free wallpapers easily and downloading them was straightforward.

And I use FTP - wanna PM me some details?

Clik on the link and then you have to navigate around the site. All of the pics are available for home use and as wallpapers. They is all different sizes but it is worth looking as there are some fab pics.
