New Graphics card!

Slight problem already! :( Damn this!

I've loaded a print screen of what the problem is - basically some symbols are showing some arn't.

I've just tried putting GRAW 2 on, starts ok, then just turns black basically although it's running in the background ok.

Also, i try to access "CC centre" but it says i don't have permission :s

Argh!

EDIT: And i'm guessing it's due to lack of PSU power, so start packing your PSU mate! :p
Actually loading the screen shot is helpful too lol (Missing parts as the picture was too big)

250W!? that sounds kinda dodgy mate, i'd take V_R up on his offer, i have one of those tagan PSU's :thumb: from me

its could be but if your PSU couldn't cope i'd have thought your system would crash

Yeah thats a bit weird.

Your miles off the recommended 450w for the x1950 mind. Of course you can go lower but probably not by 200w :p

Definately go for the PSU as even if it isn't what is causing your crash right now, it will cause you much less hassle later on.

Well give me yours then please! :p

Damn it, bank holiday on monday bad timing i am in patient! lol

Sent you a PM!

P.S: Anyone have an answer to my card problamo please help too!

Your 250w psu will be a problem in my eyes, But also, did you uninstall the old nvidia drivers first, and run Driver Cleaner in safe mode before you installed the new ones? When moving from ATI to Nvidia or vice versa you should always do that. Even do it when your upgrading your drivers. :)

Just too eliminate it being a bad card, you could try it in another machine.

I un-installed the nVidia ones yes, then turned off PC, put in new one, rebooted etc, then ran the disk.

Also just thinking it it was my PSU - wouldn't my pc just not work? I really hope it's not a bad card!!!

What's Driver cleaner? Shall i un-install the ATI ones again then now and run that programme (if you could provide a link) reboot THEN try re-installing the drivers on the disk?

Also: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-017-OK that will do surely?

kk i've done that now, re-installed etc. I think the problem is the driver ...

When i just installed it WITHOUT the new drivers and such, finding new hardware etc, it worked fine ... then i installed the newest driver and that's when the symbols dissappear etc.

So ...
