Vista ain't got no NDA. TAP probably have some agreement. MVPs have some.

But this crap you're worried about Kevin it don't never existed.

Focus on Vista features or more appropriate, the lack of ones fixed and the
ones on the cutting room floor.

Who cares if you call it J-Lo's teddy? It's the content of the OS, the
features, and making them work that counts. They'll get a name on the RTM
and a logo.

Will you can the NDA and the FYI Ken
Give up being a MS cop and get a life
Wait found a better solucion
Blocko... Im FYI out

Is it jut me or is this ass kinda annoying
FYI Ken yes its annoying
Grow up cause if you get off on the NDA and FYI thing man you have no damn
life

You know Kevin... for a guy who posted "MICROSOFT SUCKS" not too long ago...
you seem to be, hmmm, inconsistent with your messages.

That Statement is 100% Correct, Just FYI.

P.S. Microsoft should provide us a link on MS Connect that will allow us to
change our Status back from Declined to Active, Just FYI.

Better yet, there should not even be a Decline Link on MS Connect, Just FYI.

P.S. MS Beta Place certainly never had one, Just FYI.

kevpan an MS Cop? HAHAHAHAHA. To give him any association to MS is
laughable, to say the least. He's a pimply teenage wannabe who has lost his
antidepresants and can't find the keys to mom's car, so sits in front of his
computer wishing he was important. Unfortunately, we are the ones "making"
him as important as we do by reacting to him, so I suggest everyone simply
stop responding to his "I wanna be impotent dammit!" posts. He lives off of
the negative responses he gets. Sort of like a vampire, only not as sexy.
I was the same way when I was 15.

I say we all give him group hugs and, in the words of the great James
Taylor: "shower him with love." That's all he needs. As the Umperor and
great G`Hod of Microsoft, I will start...

We love you kev! You are very important to us! Someday, when you grow into
manhood, you'll understand why we were all so mean to you to begin with...

*whew* ... see? That wasn't so hard...

Then why does the desktop indicate:

Windows Vista (TM) RC 1
Evaluation Copy: Build 5728

Hmmm... that kinda looks like an interim build of... RC1.

"there should not even be a Decline Link on MS Connect"
There is a button that's not shown, it's labelled "Self Control". You
should try it.

It is there and it has been there from the beginning.
A better choice is for people to read the button before they click.
Maybe they could also add an "Are you sure?" button.
Did you read it before you clicked?
People clicking while making little or no effort to understand what they are
clicking is a major reason malware continues to be installed on computers
with the "permission" of the user.

Wow... so am I reading this right? Kevin clicked on the decline button and
then posted "MICROSOFT SUCKS" and whined like a spoiled brat because he
clicked on the decline button and they dropped him? ROTFLMAO!

Lang

But you forgot the next bit ... after he "whined" they let him back in.
Didn't you know that?.

I do not know any more about Kevin's case than anyone else.
But I do know it is not the first time someone accidentally pressed the
Decline button and got back in to a Beta.
But the ones I know were polite when making the request to Microsoft and it
was reversed within a few days.

"accidentally pressed"
You should look at Kevin's history a bit more closely. He did not hit
Decline accidentally.
He claims the Vista Beta did not work well (at the time) with his PC so he
left the Beta group via the Decline button, however later on he changed his
mind.

And after they let him back in, he clicked decline again. Go figure.
