I had a feeling. :-)
I have been in this group for several years and this is the first time
anyone has made mention of this inline posting.. and I have received a
lot of help here.. but when someone is trying to help I do try and
follow his or her's advice. What's odd to me is Gerry jumping into this
thread with no help but comments.. That in MHO is not necessary.. Rainy

I tried to help but the way you answered simple questions and your
accusations that I had not read messages when I had, made trying to help you
impractical. Until you learn to write plain English set down in a logical
way many people will be reluctant to help. You need to make your replies
clearly distinguishable from the replies by others and your previous
replies. The rest of us can do it!

I suspect you are leaving your computer on 24/7. Turning it off overnight
might also help reduce problems.

obviously you didn't get the answers or you wouldn't have repeated the
questions over and over again.. Obvious!! Jumping in here just to make
rude comments is childish..I wrote in one of my threads I left my
computer on, no need to guess.. just read the threads! Rainy

Hey, you checked the "Indent the original" box. Thank you!

Inline posting is talked about every now and then, usually in the
context of the advantages and disadvantages of top-posting versus
bottom-posting. As you can tell, I prefer inline posting with judicious
snipping. This way, anyone can see what's going on quickly and clearly.
Obviously, not everyone does it; it's a personal preference.

I thought that maybe the combination of incorrect attribution on your
part (which has now been corrected, thank you) *plus* Gerry's
top-posting (which may or may not have contributed to any further
missing parts of your responses) may have produced the consequence of
his dropping out of the thread. And since I didn't read that other
thread deeply, there may have been other factors, too.

Anyway, happy computing, Rainy. :-)

No Rainy constructive comments. I repeated questions because I did not get
simple clear answers to my questions the first time I asked..
