That being said, the faux Edison needed to just write -- "you forgot the snip the extraneous
data from the OP's post in your reply". However, that was not the case. Instead of
pointing my mistake (which I'll readily admit) he wanted me to read some Emily News Post web
site on netiquette.
That is the last response I'll write in this thread. The subject is closed. If you want to
state anything further, I invite you send me email and I will be very willing to listen to
what YOU have to say.

It is quite clear to me that you did not follow the advice given by Jupitor jones to do a clean install of Win XP (slipstreamed with SP2). Clean install would have ensured you don't have any spywares on the system. Also, SP2, if handled carefully with default settings, would have stopped any scumwares entering your system. You also need to use a cheap anti-virus software such as Symantec Anti-Virus. I would not settle for anything that is free because you simply don't know why these people are giving away their software for nothing!
So, I suggest copy all your documents on a CD and perform a clean install of WinXP (integrated with SP2 if possible) and also, install norton anti-virus before connecting to the internet. Don't mess around with default settings of both installations as they are designed to run optimally on most systems. you might need to use the pirating tool supplied exclusively by Micky Mouse Stevens (MS-MVP) to get th serial number of your applications. He recommends a product from MagicalJelly as this requires no installation but it runs from a disk.
Jupitor Jones might not meet his obligations towards his illegitimate children but he does know a thing or two about PC security. His experience is something you should make use of!

Can't seem to find a cure for these popuppers.com windows that pop up every
