Like in recent ZoneAlarm builds - only XP's version recognises AVG.
Shane......there was an article in the newspaper this morning about
incompatibility with this latest XP SP2.....seems there will be a lot of
programs that are not yet compatible with it. Norton was quoted as saying
they were not. I will have to reread it......

Just confirming the nature of the Security Centre. I shouldn't be at all
surprised if NAV whatever doesn't work in SP2. AVG's perfectly compatible
however.

Anyone have a good guess as to when NAV 2005 will be released?
I've
heard as early as August.

Who cares? I don't think anyone in this group has the stupidity to install
anything from norton on their computers.
Im sure NAV 2005 will continue the trend of bloatedness all too common with
Symantec products.

I am using Norton Antivirus now since about 10 years and I had never
problems with this program. In Nov. 04 I will chance from NAV 2004 Pro
to NAV 2005 Pro.

Mega-Dittos to that!
Last Norton product I used was Norton Desktop for Windows <G>
When Norton sold to Symantec, they bloated the heck out of it.....
