What's a "Mozilla"?
Yeah, I saw that...but I confess, I've become addicted to the features
of the googlebar Slimbrowser supports it, and does everything else
I want. MyIE is slightly faster than Slimbrowser, which is why I
*wanted* it to work.
And I found a quick way to search these newsgroups with google: I madeTiger, I like SlimBrowser too. But you really need to give MyIE2 a fair
chance. Just type a search string into the address line and google (or any
search engine you choose) pops up. It's like a search bar without a search
bar.

The latest incarnation of MyIE2 has a search bar available that can be used
for meta searching or just like ordinary quick search.
I do usde the new searchbar but I couldn't find the Google groupsThe NEW search bar in the latest release of My IE2 allows you to check
numerous search engines and search categories (including Google groups)
in one step, from the search address bar. It even has highlighting
included if you want.
Actually it searches Google news news.google.com and notClick on the arrow by the globe to the right of the search bar address
box. There you'll see 9 categories listed, including 'News". Click on
the "+" beside "News" and put a check in "Google (News)". Thereafter,
all terms that you enter in the search box will include a Google Groups
news search automatically. Good luck.
