My hard drive won't shut up!

Thanks Ed, my HD was doing this before I installed Norton! I just turned
off Indexing as you suggested, but so far, it hasn't helped, I haven't
rebooted yet though, so I'll leave it this way for awhile and see if it
makes a difference after I restart.
