Pete,

I have send this message in my time CET system at 8.03 your reply shows up
at 8.39.

As an advice, I had the problem you describe in past too.
Simply connect to Microsoft the Microsoft News Server direct, the public
part is completely open, your provider does the same.

Server
msnews.microsoft.com

By the way, I was not writing "some" in any way, as there is lag, then it is
not about one newsgroup but it is about all.

As you reread the thread then it is about a way of echoing that was done in
past very often in this newsgroup.
Luckily that is over or you can see by the send time that it is done
unintentional like happens as well in other newsgroups.

However, please pay attention that you don't snipe in a way that a messages
of somebody gets a complete different intention for those not knowing what
was more written. That is why I don't like that retro way of snipped
newsgroup behaviour (But that is my personal opinion). This happens often
while it is not the intention of those who do the sniping (what I assume in
this case too)

I was writing in this context not about lag in this newsgroup. I was writing
about the behaviour of the community of this newsgroup in past.
