Specifically: "Open Link in New Tab" doesn't work right for me for
some reason. It opens a new tab but won't load the link.
Nobody else seems to be reporting this problem, so I'm posting here to
see if I can draw any comments.

P.S. I've noticed that https://update.mozilla.org/extensions/ is not
always that quick with showing updates.

report that I've resolved it. Because I don't like to run installs if
I can avoid it, I was using the .zip file version of Firefox 1.0. I
finally knuckled under and tried the installation version, and now
"Open Link in New Tab" is well behaved, eats its vegetables and goes to
bed on time.
Why the difference? Beats-a me.

Beats me, too. I'm using the zipped version of 1.0, and I don't see
the same problem you had.
