Hi once again,
I am clearly aware of your reluctence to change both the HS and fan unit.
However, should you find it ncessary to do so, in the end, you will find it
much easier to remove by first running the computer for a minimum of ten
minutes or longer and then turning it all off and then the removal. Doing
this will heat up the the compound underneath the heatsink, making it easier
to separate the heatsink from the cpu.
