Walter, NAT does not make a Firewall a Firewall, as a matter of fact,
NAT, in a 1:1 mode does not restrict ANY traffic. Most of the
"Residential" class NAT Routers can't/don't do 1:1 NAT. NAT is a
"Routing" method and not a "Firewall" method.

I think Walter's intention was to prove the resident spam poster, Edric,
wrong. Googling 'NAT Firewall' brings up plenty of hits.

Most 3rd party software (so-called) firewall applications are nothing but
snake oil; They give you a false sense of security!

But it's SO nice to alerted as to what's trying to get out !
i.e. NOT the malware that un-web-savvy people let in but, the massive heap
of crap they pile into their PC's by choosing the "Typical" or "Fast"
install from that hardware installation cd-ROM, .....and which all wants to
keep polling your system in case you lift the lid of that scanner, or plug
something in to a USB port that XP would have detected anyway ! ...and
probably can't now because a needless driver was installed !!
