How many computers can be on a LAN with the new Vista OS? Will any version

Longhorn Server will allow more than ten. Vista has the same limitations as
XP - 5 for Home, 10 for business, enterprise. and ultimate.

Not at present. Possibility of the Longhorn but we will have to wait. As per the present Vista versions see Kerry's reply above in this thread

Just to clear this up a bit, you can have as many Vista PCs connected to the
same LAN as you like, 1, 10, 1000, 1000000. No problem. However each Vista
machine will not allow more than 10 concurrent 'connections' to its shared
resources.
