G Guest Feb 1, 2007 #1 How many computers can be on a LAN with the new Vista OS? Will any version allow more than 10?
K Kerry Brown Feb 1, 2007 #3 Longhorn Server will allow more than ten. Vista has the same limitations as XP - 5 for Home, 10 for business, enterprise. and ultimate. -- Kerry Brown Microsoft MVP - Shell/User http://www.vistahelp.ca "More answers, less red tape" <More answers, less red (e-mail address removed)> wrote in message news[email protected]...

P Peter Foldes Feb 1, 2007 #4 Not at present. Possibility of the Longhorn but we will have to wait. As per the present Vista versions see Kerry's reply above in this thread

S Slugsie Feb 1, 2007 #5 Just to clear this up a bit, you can have as many Vista PCs connected to the same LAN as you like, 1, 10, 1000, 1000000. No problem. However each Vista machine will not allow more than 10 concurrent 'connections' to its shared resources.
