Looking for Free Version of Ulead Photo Impact

Hello Markku,

I was not able to install the program either (Win98 OS). I unzipped
pex700tr.zip and when I tried the .exe file I got a message saying "this
program cannot be run in DOS mode".

There are two downloads on that web page that claim to be Ulead Photo
Explorer apps. I saw the identical "this program cannot be run in DOS
mode" message when I tried to install pex60.exe from the pex60.zip file.

These are the two download descriptions. Both files are unusable AFAICT.

Ulead Photo Explorer 6.0 is "freeware" and can be downloaded here:

I don't think (Ulead) Photo Explorer Pro 7.0 have ever been freeware...

The above link does not work for me either. In fact using the "The
Downloadwith" extension with FF, a right click gives an "invalid URL
msg".


I had success downloading a copy from here, hopefully this one is a good
copy.

If I knew The Secret To Success I would afford to buy software and not
be in this group ;-)

I did not download it from Uleads homepage, but from some Japanese or
Chinese site when googling for the program. Don`t remember where and I
deleted the file. And later I deleted Mozillas cache and history...

But shall try again later this day (I am at work now).

WHAT!!! You're not a "true believer" in Freeware??? for shame. . . ;)

Did, Zo's link worked. The program indexes pictures *fast*, to bad it's
not true freeware. I'll stick with my new favourite: Fast Stone Image
Viewer.
