I would suggest only the last one could be directly attributed to ATI, and
standby works ok for me.

no this sound card was out LONG before ATI cats, your OS would be? XP? standby -9x version is what i was referring to, should
have posted that....mine does standby just fine won't wake up...but i think i have that solved, this damn MS office tool bar
causes numerous video transition problems. Try standby, then activate TV, does your software stagger before it loads or fails to
load, right after wake up?

I use Win2K SP4

Mine goes into standby and wakes up ok.

Then don't use the Office toolbar (I've never liked it)... besides 98 and
beyond has a decent replacement built right in... You've seen the quick
launch bar? Right click it and add the folders you use in the Office
toolbar.

TV out is enabled... what software are you referring to? I don't notice any
"staggering" - there's a delay whilst my hard drive spins up... that sort of
thing is to be expected when coming out of standby.

the MMC software......and not so much Immediatly right after wake up, maybe within 5 minutes or so after, starting the TV most times
staggers (delays) the start, or wont start at all. only a restart, then all is fine. using the latest ASPI drivers from adaptec.
Latest and greatest ATI. been having the problem since 3.4's.

I use the quick launch for most things, the tool bar was nice as i added MMC to it and could switch back and forth...but thats gone
and no longer the issue.

Have never used MMC.

So ad MMC to a another windows toolbar - attatch that toolber to the top,
left, right, bottom, let it float... whatever you wanna do. There has been
no requirement for the office toolber since IE5.

its gone and no longer the issue, i used it rather than windows' toolbars because it had the option to auto fit in the active
windows title bar....

That must be an Office XP feature? I never saw it thats all, but then I
probably haven't used it since Office 97.

No, the no MMX detected is certainly ATi's. Doesn't make any difference,
though. And I'm fed up with Creative problems - getting a Video Logic (UK
Turtle Beach) card.
