I've had my first driving lesson...

I was braking about 20 feet from the junction and then when I got there struggling with the clutch.

You had to do that with nearly all cars in the 70's. When they said "I had to stand on the brakes" in them days they really meant it. :lol:

If your in a car as a passenger look at what the driver is doing.
Learn what they do & how they react.

And the car i did my lessons & test was a nissan micra, the old square version in 1988!

Just remember, there was a time when you couldn't walk. But as you started walking you were very unsteady and even fell over but in a very short time you became very proficient at walking, then running and even jumping as you ran.

It just became second nature as it will with driving. You just have to keep doing it and you will quickly get the hang of it. :)
