Now then, in view of your recent behaviour and correspondence with other members of the association I've taken the rather unorthodox step of enrolling you for next week's refresher course in public relations, staff sensitivity and the complete understanding of unsaid things.

It's a standard course, 3 days, meals and accomodation supplied, Outer Hebrides location, no gas, water, electricity or telephone for the duration. There's a cab outside to take you to the airport.

I wish you well and here's your ticket. But if I may offer just one piece of advice Blenkinsop, and please don't take offence, it is this:

You never, ever, mention a lady's age in her company.

Well of course Niv - we can't have him sticking out like a sore thumb, can we? A kilt and sporran would be the order of the day. (Actually, I've heard that sporrans make excellent pets :rolleyes: so he will also have a nice companion for the journey :D )
 
My Gran was born in Glasgow
So i'm .25 Scottish.
It will be like going home for the 1st time.;)
