It's Snowing

About 2.5 cm of snow here now but temp is rising. It's now up to 1.2C so it may be all gone in the morning. ;)

Well I hope it has gone. Tried to get a bus from one end of Oxford street to the other abut an hour ago. No bleeding chance. 2 inches of snow and the public transport system has come to a fricking hault. Whn will they learn, sending the gritters out after the snow is to late ? :confused::confused::confused::(
 
Salt alone has very little effect on snow. Once snow has started to build up on the roads there is little anyone can do.

The actions of ploughing, spreading salt and vehicles running on the snow will all help to clear the roads.

Three pictures taken with three different settings on me camera last night at about midnight. The moon was so bright it was almost like being in the day time. :D

it's melting quickly, but will freeze up tonight making the roads difficult tomorrow morning!
will be dangerous driving conditions at 0600 tomorrow morning!
 
blimey it's getting cold again & the roads are getting icy.

Mucks. Snow can bring an end of life on this planet just as much as the sun,at the end of it`s life,can. The earth can end up as a giant snow ball all life will be extinct.
