For your information most people who buy or are given a pc with windows on
it do not know any different regarding automatic updates.

And most are too lazy to read a Dummies book or even bother to read
the help already included with the OS or application. That does not
alter that THEY are the administrator of their own host (if not
company property) and are responsible for its setup, configuration,
maintenance, security, and operation.
