Is it possible to disable "Calculating time to copy/move file..."

So, you can take your rock and shove it up your ass. Show PROOF of what you
say and I'll believe you. Why would anyone believe otherwise? I'm sorry
you have a problem with reasoning, facts, reality and the like but that's
your problem.

Anyway, after an extensive search I came up empty handed. People who
reported this during the beta simply had their bug closed with no reason.
That usually happened when MS deemed a bug as a driver issue.

Unless someone can find any other info, the best recourse is to keep
updating your drivers.

Just be patient, these 'people' will eventually disappear. One of the
drawbacks to providing free support newsgroups are the trolls that they
attract.

These bashers/detractors are a part of the history of any new OS that MS
releases. You can use Google to go back to 2001, when XP was released, and
earlier to see this. The messages are always the same, word for word
diatribe. Only the posters names have changed. <g>

The good news is that they are consistent, so you can always use the
killfile if they get to be too much of a bother.
