Use address is more accurate. Zipcode might give you wrong Compass
Orientation.

=>I own the HDTV Wonder and the AIW 8500DV. In answer to your
question
=>about using it with the 8500DV, there is one problem. The 8500DV
=>doesn't support DirectX 9.0 or above. Even though it passes the
tests
=>when you put it through them, it is not capable of performing
certain,
=>specific jobs made possible by DirectX 9.0 and above.
=>
=>In my case, the HDTV Wonder found most of the local Digital TV
OTA(Over
=>The Air) broadcast stations in the area. It showed the local ABC
=>affiliate station just fine. I could hear the CBS station very
=>clearly, but there was no video. The difference is that ABC
broadcasts
=>the 720p hdtv standard (1280 x 720 progressive), but, CBS comes in
at
=>1080i (1920 x 1080 interlaced). The 1080i broadcasts require some
=>DirectX 9.0 functions that cannot be performed by the 8500DV card.
=>
=>If you check the ATI web site, ATI points out that the HDTV Wonder
=>needs either their Radeon (or AIW) 9550 video card or above to be
fully

I have a HP A1110N(On sale fry's $400) which has only 3 PCI slots.
So I get a Diamond 9250 PCI 256MB(claims to support dx9) from Newegg
for around $45.00.
I got ATI HDTV from Buy.com on sale and rebate for ~$110.00
Got 1gb pc3200 from Fry's on sale for around $70.00

Install/uninstall couple times and finally get everything right.

My house is at the end of Santa Ana river and Ocean. The view to the
LA mountain is block by my neighbor's second floor.

I can watch 2, 4, 5, 9, 11, 18, 28, 30, 50, 58...and a bunch of
Spanish stations which are all 40+ miles away with ATI antena.

Diamond 9250 does run fine with HDTV wonder. No problem to run Far Cry
800x600. Have not try other modes. Onboard Intel video does not
interfere with HDTV or gaming. As matter of fact, I can have 3
displays at the same time(1 intel onboard, 2 ati 9250).

Unfortunately, I have 1600x1200 monitor and have not much use for
extra displays

BTW. Fry's has Compaq sr1620nx on sale for 399.99.

1620 has better setup tham a1110n with onboard ATI 300.
All you need to do is plug in HTDV wonder and probably add more ram.
Don't be fool by the 250W psu. Mime run great with its 250W psu.
You can search 1620 info in HP web site. You might want to try less
crowded Fry's store(ie Anaheim) for it.
