That doesn't change the fact that you outright lied, twice Whether or not
the install will eventually get flagged no one knows, you included. Spewing
false statements and guesses helps no one and only makes the person spewing
them look like they don't know what they're talking about, which is what
happened in this case, not a good position for an MVP if you ask me.
Whether you promote it or not, it works, and it was designed to work that
way, otherwise it wouldn't work, so rather than providing people with pastes
from the license agreement and your opinion, provide them with the truth.

As you apparently aren't getting the point or don't want to get the point, I
will refrain from further comment, as all you can seem to do is try to use
the license agreement to explain why you lied. If you just got someone
else's opinion on the subject and assumed it was true and reposted it, maybe
you have learned a lesson, don't believe everything you read.

To lie is to deliberately state something you know not to be true.
To repeat something you read or were told and assumed to be true is not
lieing.
What statement that Carey mad do you feel was a lie?

First is this statement;

"Wrong. The Microsoft product activation servers have
been reprogrammed to not activate an upgrade Vista license
unless the qualifying Windows license is also present."

This is entirely false.

Second is this statement;

"You'll soon receive a non-genuine notice when the
WGA notification tool is installed."

This is false as well.

I have no problems with someone unknowingly posting a bit of bad info, no
ones perfect, but to continue to do it even when it's known to be incorrect
is not something we should expect from an MVP. I do not condone piracy and
often point out the license agreement to OP's, but I also don't lie and
provide false information to them because I don't think they should be doing
what they are trying to do. Microsoft made the clean install method
available on purpose, they could have easily made it not work, but they
didn't, so who is Carey to say it is right or wrong? If you don't approve
just say so, don't lie and provide false information about it just to try
and get someone to comply with your personal opinion.
