Thought everyone would like to know, there was a bug in v2.5.0 surrounding
the resizing (when you resize the window, the size column disappeared, and
there were no scroll bars to access it). I've fixed that now and uploaded
the fixed one.
you have an excellent site. thank you!

This program posts news to billions of machines throughout the galaxy.
Your message will cost the net enough to bankrupt your entire planet.
As a result your species will be sold into slavery. Be sure you know
what you are doing.

Are you absolutely sure you want to do this?

Yes [No]

Unfortunately it appears my XP Pro mahcine isn't behaving itself.

I was notified of an error when trying to view index.dat files with the the
last update. For some reason, the version I compiled on my new XP Pro
machine did something to the .exe that made it give an error. I've double
checked this and re-compiled it on the 9x machine and all is working
correctly again now.

Unfortunately, the cause of the error with XP Pro is currently unknown.

If anyone downloaded v2.5.x before March 8th, you will need to re-download
it to get rid of the bug

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Damn! I got it late last night (about 15:20UTC 07-03-2004) and
"archived" it to CDR today! Oh well...

However, visiting
http://www.it-mate.co.uk/support/idsuite_download.asp
I found that the v2.5.1 "Basic Install" is an EXE file and the
"Update" is a ZIP. *But* they are both named idsuite_upd, which
doesn't sound terribly logical to me. (I picked up the EXE just now.
It's about 440KB, versus the advertised 427KB.)

Cheers, Phred.

Apologies for the mix-up (with the filenames and the size). The .exe
"update" (actually just an installer version of idsuite_upd.zip) is set to
be renamed, along with the rest of them, within the next few weeks. At
present, I'm busy trying to find out what went wrong with the version I
compiled and packaged on the XP Pro machine.
