No misunderstanding. Doesn't matter. Whether you are using the form
for entering new Requests, or viewing/editing existing Requests, it
should still work the same. No problem. However, if it's for new
requests, you won't (of course) be able to enter any Account and Amount
data into the subform until after the new Request record has been
entered on the main form. Other than that, it should do the job
precisely as you have described.
