I'm having my fight with Outlook 2003. We are trying to import calendar
items from a PST file and don't seem to be able to do this. We brought the
PST into Outlook and would like to move all calendar items into the calendar
under the Mailbox.

Can anybody help?

Thanks

Claus

If the .PST file is open in Outlook's folder list, can you not just copy the
calendar data from the .PST's calendar folder to the Mailbox calendar
folder?

No, that doesn't seem to work. You can do that with contacts but there
doesn't seem to be a way to copy the calendar data.

Claus

....both PST's have to be the Outlook 2002 version, if not
it will not work. For example the old PST would be a 2002
version and the default new one for Outlook 2003 would be
2003, you have to make the old PST the default then
create a new PST. Doing this, it will ask if you want it
to be a 2003 version or a version that is compatible with
both versions.

Then you can go to the Calendar and put it in ACTIVE
APPOINTMENT list and then copy and paste between PST's....

PS-Now I wish someone could help me with my issue...LOL

Ivan,

Thanks for the help. The issue is that we want to copy the appointments from
a PST into the Calendar in the Exchange Mailbox. I understand your first
part but what do you mean by:
"Then you can go to the Calendar and put it in ACTIVE
APPOINTMENT list and then copy and paste between PST's.."..

and can I copy from PST to Mailbox?

Thanks

Claus

When in the Calendar, you have different "Views" that you
can have, (go to VIEW, ARRANGE BY, CURRENT VIEW) and
ACTIVE APPOINTMENT is one of them. In that view it shows
in a list format, you can copy and paste the entire list
then, no?
