Take the word f*ck... No language on this planet has as many uses of a
word
as we americans do for this one... And thats 1 WORD of 350,000+
Hi CJ,

I think that this "English" word has in more languages more meanings than
only breed, what is in Dutch by the way "fokken". For f*ck we have more and
other words.

That is for sure in Dutch. Do not forget that English and Dutch are both
originally languages from the North Sea (Belgium and England are less than
50 miles form each other), they do not have so many differences in the
meanings of the words, only in the writing.

However, there will be many countries in the world, where English words can
used in a different way than I know; exactly as you told. (This also for
England).

I think that you also could not complete understand Fergus and Nak when they
where writing in a Cockney way. (Maybe that was even easier for me, because
Cockney is only 100 miles from here). Moreover, do not forget that
Americans use different words than the English, and the American words are
not always in our dictionaries.

As last, I hope I do not disappoint you when I tell you that "f*ck" is not
an American invention.

Speaking of Fergus and Nak, where have those two been? That was my point
about the american words / dictionaries. Americans have a tendancy to make
stuff up (for shizzle, my nizzle.)

As last, I hope I do not disappoint you when I tell you that "f*ck" is not
an American invention.

I know.. but we sure have a lot of meanings for it. isn't originally a
german invention?

Cor,

Will Do

I DEFINITELY had a problem with my newsreader because I did not get your
response from the initial thread. I sort of took offense to your reply
starting off by addressing me by my last name "Hi Panosh" along with "I
think you should worry about your newsreader" thought it was a little
arrogant, if it was not I apologize. If regards to my reply "and you
should worry about your English" ... notice the wink at the end. If this
offended you once again I apologize.

Regards,

Rob
