At the top of the main Yahoo.com page is the following with links to the
Yahoo! version:
"Yahoo! recommends upgrading to the NEW, safer Internet Explorer 7."

Do you really think they'd say this if they didn't have important things
operating?

Alan, take a look here, these Add-Ons are supported with IE 7:

With my system setup, the BHOs/Plugins themselves were not affected and
transferred successfully from the first release thru to RC1 and beyond. The
only problem I had was with the very first beta which manifested itself in
the form of not being able to select certain buttons from the header section
of the browser e.g. the forward, back and refresh buttons. By trial and error
I was able to establish that this was due to the BHOs which were preventing
the operation of these buttons. I resolved by rolling back to IE6, disabling
BHOs/Plugins in that browser, upgrading to IE7 and renabling. I never
experienced the same problem again with subsequent betas and everything has
continued to work like clockwork since.

I had a toolbar on one system that needed an update. It was disabled on the
first startup of IE7, which took me directly to the update site (well--it
WAS a Microsoft toolbar (developer).) Updated it and it installed and was
fine from then on.

I'm scared, I find myself agreeing with Plun again!

Well, thats scaring.....;)

Nevertheless we have a IE6 group of users totally lost in
this jungle.

And they will be hunted with zlobs, renos, dirty activex and
so on...

The challenge is that also more normal users can get hit in
this
malware inferno.

IE7 must be safer choice for mostly all users.

Good morning Bill. This is becoming more like a IE7 newsgroup. Anyway, WD is
working very well with IE7 so far and I`m very much looking forward to the
final release of - WD ? ;)

I'm beginning to feel there may never be a final release.....
(just kidding--don't anybody take that literally!)

I know there will be a final release, but I also know that the underlying
technology is being used in other products, and will likely continue to
evolve over time.

(And no, I don't know when that release will be!)
