Running Vista Home Premium on a Toshiba Laptop with 2MB RAM and a DVD/CD
burner.
I downloaded 6001.18000.080118-1840-kb3aikl_en.iso.zip from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...34-D890-4932-81A5-5B50C657DE08&displaylang=en
I unzip it to a DVD and take the DVD out and autorun kicks in and I get the
AIK menu and click install. I startsd installing and then @ 30% of the
install it asks for me to insert the AIK disk, Yes, No. So I recopied the
file and burned another disk and same thing, it fails.
The download page says the file is: 6001.18000.080118-1840-kb3aikl_en.iso
but it is really a zip and unzipping it I do not see that file.
Does anyone have a solution?
Thanks

I need to clarify some things.
The downloaded file is an ISO file it's just that WinZip is associated with
that file. SO I'm thinking that maybe that is the problem...
So I am going to disassociate iso files from winzip and see if that does
anything.

The problem was I was using WinZip to mount it and once I used a "real"
mounting program it worked.
