Default Gateways are Global for the whole machine. Default Gateways are
used
when there is no established route to a destination. It is essentially
the
"routing bit-bucket" where it throws things when it has no idea how to get
to them.

Hello
How to make Windows 2000 use a gateway of a NIC, which is connected to a LAN
with a required resource, when requesting the resource, not a gateway of
a
another NIC? Windows 2000 uses the same gateway of one NIC for requests for
resources on both LANs.

I did not add a default gateway to a NIC by myself. Why am I not supposed
to
have two default gateways?
