a mac has a few things over a pc

OS lovely and 'clean' looking ( yes i know u can get a theme for windows, but it just dont match ! )

easebilty ( i know i spelt it wrong :o ) there is a lot less things that go wrong with a mac, not as much viruses, spyware etc as they are taggeted at windows !

better Multimedia, with itunes and some cool video editing programs mac is known for being better!

look stylish and nice, although i woulfd never have one over a PC ...

HARD to upgrade ... nt sure you can on some models!!

bad for gaming unless you get a mac tower system ( which if your considering u may aswell get a pc! )

Name me one Mac video editing system that's better than using Adobe Premiere using a Matrox PC Card with dedicated breakout box.

This issue about Macs having better video editing software is a myth.

It stems from earlier days when Macs did actually outshine IBM based PC's for that usage, mostly because of the Mac's (at that time) sharper graphics.

I still meet people who hold this view, Ostriches all.

I think even Pinnacle's Studio Nine would hold it's own with Mac video editing software.

Look, there's nothing actually wrong with Macs, if you fancy paying twice as much for a system that just about matches a PC from 2002.

And I-Tunes? Ok, it ain't too shabby is it? ;)

i aint a mac lover by any means ... but i've heard they are better for video editing on many sites.

hey i dunno ! i was just saying lol !

and in my opinion i think itunes is great ! does all the hardwork for u !

Uh, yep, I agreed with you on that one (see above). The Mac's jewel in the crown, lol

yep :) ... ive ever really been on ONE mac yes one! lol .. and that was an old school colourful one lol

u know ... the seethrough ones that came in a vast amount of colours :p

I though it sucked ... lol the noises all seemed disorted MSN was a pain in the A$$ and web browsing sucked! i have yet to witness a more recent mac ... but my friend is getting the new G5 i think it is the one with all the components in the monitor.

il tell you how it is when i get a go :p ... but the price is ALOT considoring what you get... i mean an X600 in a £1000+ sytem !! its a joke!

I didn't think my small contribution to this poll would bring out the anti Mac crowd most of whom have never used a modern Mac!
