oh and a £250 prize as first place in a (drunken night out!) karaoke contest. Oh the shame.

Doubt it!!

I'm 16, and on near £300 a month... it's about £4.33 an hour, and thats only induction pay, i get a rise soon. When i get car insurance thats half my wages down the pan.

Theres no minimum wage until your 18 though i dont think, but am sure it is more than that!!

Am I the only person who has NEVER bought a Lottery ticket!
I hate the lottery, it is just another tax on the poor, giving them false hope that they are going to win millions!
My gran, bless her, used to spend £10 a week, which she could have put to better use, ie food, heating, etc, but ................

Sorry folks, just don't get me started on the lottery!

If you were to buy one lottery ticket, and win a tenner, your perceptions of it would change dramatically...

About a year ago, I could have said the same. Well, about buying a ticket anyway, both me Nans are 6 feet under now.

I still hold much the same view myself, but now, every so often, like about once a fortnight, I'll buy a couple of lucky dip lotto tickets. I can stand to lose a couple of quid now and again.

But, have to say, it really goes against my principles.

Anyways, guess what? I actually won a tenner yesterday, I matched three numbers.

Well yippy yi yay, first time that's ever happened. But I'm afraid no, my perception of the lottery has not changed dramatically because of it ;)

I put a pound on every Wed and Sat since they started and won £150 in £10s at a time.

If I had not always used the same numbers I would stop.

(please dont tell me how much I have lost, I will cry)

But psycologically it does change them a bit, come on, even the tiniest bit.....
Um, honestly, no. Really really really. In fact if anything it's sort of disapointing. I want THE BIG WIN or nothing...

Let my avarice shine through in all it's ugly guise :D
