You people are pathetic morons, why on earth do you even bother
posting in a "user help forum" just to belittle people?
The OP "belittled" herself. If she'd bothered attending school beyond Year 5
(instead of hanging around in shopping centres texting her, equally
illiterate, friends) then she would have received much more credence. As it
is, she doesn't deserve any.
I certainly
hope I never have to rely on the likes of you insensitive fools to
help me!!!
You've nothing to worry yourself about on that score - we wouldn't. I only
see two fools in this thread - you and the OP.
In the first place not every one on this planet speaks
fluent English, and even if they are supposed to be able to speak it,
The OP is Australian - last I checked, they did.
social and economic status may be a determining factor in their
inability.
I am in receipt of £730 a month which, in this country, makes me not well
off. Australia is about as wealthy as the UK, and the OP lives in Sydney (or
somewhere around Sydney) so, chances are, she would be attending school
(though I doubt he actually attends school, he just hangs around shopping
centres with his, equally illiterate, friends). I would put her age at
between 13 and 16 (though probably more towards the lower end of the range)
and she types like she does because her usual method of communication is 'r
u gng 2 the prk 2nte?" Vowels are a complete mystery to her, as is any form
of proper English.
All of which is completely understandable, but as for
discrimination for ethnic or social economic reasons
As we know nothing about her ethnic or socio-economic background, how the
hell can we discriminate on those grounds?! Actually, we weren't
"discriminating" at all - can you please clarify where you think the
discrimination occurred?
- defiantly not
"Defiantly"?! What was anyone being 'defiant' about?! Actually, maybe you're
being a little defiant...
excusable under any circumstances,
You're right. There is no excuse for poor English.
get a grip and if you cant provide help
Sorry, but telling someone that they're not going to receive much in the way
of assistance if they don't post in coherent sentences *is* helping.
don’t post to try to harm!!!
Sorry but this sort of thing really gets my goat!!
You're right. It gets mine too. The poor use of English as got my goat for
over 20 years. As have cretins like you who think there's an excuse for poor
English. There isn't.
Now as for your problem, what exactly did you do? Give a little more
detail to the problem and maybe some one can help. Contrary to what
Pegasus says your case may not be hopeless.
Oh it's definitely (note spelling) hopeless (in more ways than one...)
It really does infuriate me when people think they have a right to be
ugly to others because they think they are better educated!
Nothing whatsoever to do with education. My great-grandfather never had any
form of education and he could read and write perfect English (and he was
born and brought up in one of the most impoverished parts of Scotland).
Why don’t
y’all go join your friends in the KKK.
Er what's an extreme right-wing organisation dedicated to White supremacy
got to do with the price of pilchards? Are you saying those that strive for
the correct use of English are racist? If so, that's libellous.
Maybe you could drag someone
down the road tell they tear limb from limb for making a typo, or beat
them to death with a baseball bat because they left their caps lock
on!!!!
Sorry, but the OPs post did not contain three dozen typos, it was misspelt
all the way through and that shows carelessness and lack of thought. And one
doesn't "accidentally" leave their caps lock on for nearly an entire post.
There is a green light that indicates the condition of the caps lock key -
if it's illuminated, it's on, if not, it's off. I cannot see how anyone can
fail to miss that. Therefore, a post all in caps, or nearly all in caps, is
most definitely deliberate.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
