AVG finally lists it, after I opened the damn thing, but no healing
works. Where do I find a cure?

Why were you so stupid as to execute it anyway? In any case, Symantec
has a fix on their website.

Bill's our quasi official grumpy old man... Either kill file him or get

Someone has to hold their hand to get to the Symantec website?

I prefer the term "Grizzled".

I prefer the term sociopath, or ****wit in common parlance. Remember there
are learners out here, and comments like "You're too stupid to own a
computer" are just crass elitist mumblings that serve no good to those who
are trying to learn. It also reflects a pesonality of someone who is
resentful of anyone else striving to know as much, if not more than that
"personality" does. "Grizzled" doesn't hack it. That brings up connotations
of a mellow bearded old timer into low tech things like panning for gold or
begging on the streets.

Stuart. (non- grizzled)

"I've had a few folks ask me why I do this, aren't I afraid I'll lose all of
my "trade secrets"? However, the tips I use can be learned by anyone given
some time and practice. I can share them all and will have lost absolutely
nothing. Hopefully folks will find their computers more fun and less
frustrating to use."

Yeah - you sound like fun, bet you had fun googling all the "secret info"
too. LOL.
