How do I go back to IE6 from IE7?

Go to the ADD/Remove Programs tool in the Control Panel.
Look for Microsoft Windows Explorer.

On my computer it is listed as "Windows Explorer 7".

Have you tried to reinstall IE 7 and then uninstall? Sometimes reinstalling
IE will put back the necessary bits lost in the initial install (like the
missing Add/Remove entry for IE 7) and then you can use it to uninstall
properly. Just a shot.....
