Dear Floppy
I don't know how old your kids are but my 2 x 15 year olds were wanting to get into Face Party and I had a look at it with them and wasn't sure about how 'ok' it was in terms of image and content etc.... Having teenage kids is a very difficult balance and notwithstanding some of the potential risks with MSN, I think I would rather go with that option. You might wanna check out Face Party if you get a sec and makeup your own mind.

Eldest, who lives with me, is 17 and a half. She has a head on her shoulders, I've given her free rein on the net since she was about 13. It's striking a fine line between keeping them in kid gloves and letting them know about the real world I suppose. She's kinda streetwise too, I suppose, SE London girl.
The other two (twins) will be 16 on Sunday, they live with their mother in Glastonbury. I don't know what their surfing habits are now, but about twice a year I usually have to clean their hard disks for them as well. If anything, they're more sussed than their older sister, although I don't see an awful lot of them now, we split in July '02.
Getting back to swearing, in real life I cuss all the time
It's bad, I know, but that's just me. On meeting somebody new though, I never swear, I let them take the lead, if they cuss, then so do I
And call me odd, but I still feel uncomfortable swearing in front of females. Stupid really, as a lot of the women I know utter profanities that would shock a London Black Cab driver
