Here's a Possible Keeper

I just right click on the tray icon, choose colours and fonts, choose
custom and select my desired font size

I think this now works for all nodes

This is what I was looking for. thank you,...

I believe that it would be nice if the preferences could be managed
from the screen itselves... but that's a minor difficulty,... once you
know it... In order to be successfull, it needs to be as simple as
possible to use imho.
As for me,... it's a keeper indeed... will promote it.

I had a look at it. It does not appear to use significantly less RAM
than the much better and much more versatile Treepad, which is still
the best of the text only notes programmes using a tree structure, at
least in my not at all humble opinion.

Peter, and others. I am using Win98SE and have no probs. What
you need to do is:

Right click on the Tray Icon and select Preferences.
Go to the tab Visual Options.
Under Colors & Fonts, select Custom from the drop down menu.
Now you are able to select the Elements whose colors and/or fonts
you wish to alter.

The key to all this of course, is that you must select the Custom
option first.

WOW! that works,

Thanks a lot Ed

Pete,

The author needs to fix that. I guess everyone has to fiddle a long time or
ask how to change fonts. It wouldn't be so bad, but he uses Small Fonts for
the default.

It's not only the use of resources - it uses only 1.220 kB in
stand-by modus - but it looks great,.. seems very stable... but it
should become more user friendly befor it can be a hit...
That it has a lot of potential,... no one can denie IMHO

The only way I can upgrage is if my wife gets a new one and I get her
old one. The up side is , I tried MemPad and like it better. Thanks for
letting me know that I wan't the only one.

We'll have to upgrage

Good - it's what I suggested you do :-)

Glad to see you are sorted now

"Shirus pad". Pretty cool little note keeper with some unique features. It's
customizable enough to suit many tastes.

Get it here. http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail.php3?fid=1046622146
