help with crashing pc

We're currently seeing the last hurrah of the Athlon XP line, but that doesn't mean that support for the chip is waning. Indeed, the motherboards that support the XP are better than ever, and the AN7 is an excellent example of the trend.
Yep, I'll agree with that, nice board. :thumb:

Just make sure the memory you buy is 'compatable' with the board. ;)

already checked the memory out and just ordered both got the advice on the board from my brother who's a network engineer had to ask if it was any good as the numbnuts couldnt even tell what was wrong with my pc and he spent over an hour looking at

Well, I can't help with networks much ... I just tell everybody to use a router. :D

If you search through PCRs archive you will see me hyping on about getting the correct memory for MBs on many occasion ... cant really help people who just buy the cheapest they see ... but I try to 'educate' as many as I can.

PCs aint cheap ... it you wan't a good one. ;)

consider myself educated mate crucial memory decent mobo thinking about buying a new graphics card next month on pay day (if only o could get payed monthly wages weekly) anything else i should be looking at (other than my boss stareing at me as if im not doing anything)

The card you have is fine for 'everday work', but if you play games, then I know it will struggle somewhat.

There are some dam good AGP 'gaming cards' around, as I am not a 'real' gamer I'll leave that one for the younger people (even Floppybootstomp :p ) on the forum to answer ... I don't think there is such an item as a "cheap gaming card" but then look at what it has to do.

Some 'gaming cards' have had more 'power' than some of the PCs I have owned. :D

What I will say, if you find one you like, at the right price ... check it out first before buying, with us or Google, to see if it has any hidden drawbacks. :thumb:

will do im going to embark on a months long mission (not like ive got anything else to do) to find a quality graphics card i will leave no stone untouched no forum un-checked and no review un-read failing that i'll pick a few het drunk and through darts to pick
