Until very recently, clicking the Calendar button
in Outlook would open my calendar immediately. Now, clicking it results in a
lag of as much as 15 - 20 seconds before the calendar appears. I share my
calendar by publishing it online. I am running Windows Vista and Office
2007. I hope that is sufficient information.

I've recently installed OL2003 and observed a similar symptom. I also noticed that in the Title Bar of the window, it said "(Logging Enabled)". I went to Options | Other tab | Advanced Options... and unchecked the "Enable Logging" box. After restarting Outlook, the Calendar feature comes up much more quickly.

Yes - logging can cause slowness in outlook - not just in the calendar.
