Now the secret is not to get them in the first place, so PLEASE make sure you have a good AV, together with Windows Defender, SpywareBlaster and Spybot Search&Destroy for some real time protection - they are all available free, so no excuses :D

It will not give you 100% cover, the rest is down to you ;)

Same Problem...

Thanks....any help is appreciated.

insaneduble07, you should really start a new thread - but seeing as your here now, do the following:

Boot into Safe Mode

Now scan with HJT and place a checkmark next to each of the following items:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\dcomcfg.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\atmclk.exe
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,SearchURL = prosearching.com
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,SearchURL = prosearching.com
R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - - (no file)
R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {C086B92C-73C3-2C34-B35D-5B17251A76C1} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\bei.dll (file missing)
R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {14A8ADEE-645E-66AF-7904-4EB60F68AC90} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\pwzcr.dll (file missing)
O2 - BHO: Nothing - {b0398eca-0bcd-4645-8261-5e9dc70248d0} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\hpDC94.tmp
O20 - Winlogon Notify: WRNotifier - WRLogonNTF.dll (file missing)

Make sure all windows are closed except for hijackthis and click fix checked.

Re-boot.

Once done run the removal tool in post #2 again in safe mode.

After that, then run ALL the suggested programs, first with Ewido, from the earlier posts in Safe Mode.

Come back and let us know how you got on and re-post your hijackthis log :thumb:

Hi, This is identical to a virus I have...a flashing red no entry to a flashing green handicap sign in the bottom
right corner. It comes up with "you have a viurs etc please get antimalware to protect yourself.." in a big red
box annoyingly every minute or so.

I've tried deleting the three lines as mentioned above ...ie

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {edbf1bc8-39ab-48eb-a0a9-c75078eb7c8e} - (no file)
O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {CD67F990-D8E9-11d2-98FE-00C0F0318AFE} - (no file)

but still no luck :wall: , very frustrating.

Any help would be really appreciated

I've attached a latest hijack log :)
