What was posted, by you, was an incorrect

That mark bordered on rudeness only to somebody who is too
"sawnsihtive". Like you, for instance. Vic is more thick skinned than
that. I in fact, worded my post so as not to be offensive to Vic. You
are wrong here, totally.
about the content provided in the
original post and now the 'troll remarks' directed
towards me personally, may place you as one
that should take a step back and remember
this NG is here to assist.
Gee, I didn't know that after posting here for about 6 or 7 years now.
Tell me how to behave, little girl.
That assistance may
apply to anyone who participates, at any degree,
with any understanding level of the content of
the generally accepted FAQ.
When you reply to somebody's post in a newsgroup, it is generally
assumed that you are talking to THEM. *What part of that don't you
understand?*
Yes, of course other people profit from reading such replies, that's
the nature of usenet. However, your reply is supposed to be directed
to the O.P. What you are saying is that you are totally in the right
to recommend commercial software and to ignore my signature file.
How do you think that makes ME feel? Thus my remark about putting my
F.A.Q. back up and resuming my aggressive defense of the definition of
freeware. And you are dangerously close to forcing that hand. I'm sure
all the trolls in this group appreciate your doing this very much.
As for your "generally accepted FAQ" remark, this clearly indicates
how long you've been posting to this group (or if you are a troll, is
intended to make me believe that you're a newbie.) I'm sure that John
Fitzsimons himself would tell you that my F.A.Q. (written at exactly
the same time as his) was just as "generally accepted" as his until I
took it down a few weeks ago.
My version of the F.A.Q. has been archived here:
http://web.archive.org/web/20030707045808/http://ccountry.net/~jcorliss/F.A.Q./FrameSet1.html
On this page:
http://web.archive.org/web/*/www.ccountry.net/~jcorliss/F.A.Q./FrameSet1.html
there are links to archives of it going back to 2001. On the other
hand, this link:
http://makeashorterlink.com/?C213224F6
clearly shows that I was discussing the creation of an F.A.Q. as far
back as 1999 and earlier. This was before ANY F.A.Q. existed for this
group.
That is the last
I will say on this subject unless it returns to the
actual on topic subject matter-- The need for
help concerning calendar software.
Sharon, before you post to a newsgroup, it's always a good idea to
read the group for a while and try to figure out who the regulars are
and how they act. You should also learn about the group as a whole.
Coming in here and provoking a negative response from me is the act of
a pure newbie or a troll. And the header information in your posts
strongly resembles that of a well known troll who frequents this
group. If I'm wrong, my apologies. If however, I'm correct (and of
course, there's no way of knowing this) then no apology applies. As
for your ending your participation in this conversation, I say "THANK
GOD."
Regardless, welcome to my filter list. Life's too short to have to
deal with people like you.

Over and out.
